The Marketing Assistant II plays a pivotal role in organizing, planning, coordinating, and supporting pre-production and post-production phases of videography and photography projects across all Shell FCU brands and special initiatives. This role also involves capturing and producing in-house video content for Shell FCU employee communications.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Consistently meet all Shell FCU Service Commitments; Shell FCU Employee Creed and Shell FCU Service Distinctions.
- Accountable to maintain knowledge of and comply with all applicable rules and regulations required within the scope of duties, including, but not limited to, the Bank Secrecy Act.
- Required to attend or participate in any training sessions as requested or scheduled.
- Perform job duties and responsibilities in compliance to Shell FCU policies, procedures, philosophy, and standards of performance.
- Maintain order in the studio and manage storage areas efficiently.
- Produce and edit internal video content to engage with Shell FCU employees.
- Utilize Adobe Photoshop for tasks such as color correction, retouching, and resizing of images.
- Assist in organizing and preparing photography and videography files.
- Oversee the complete YouTube video upload process, incorporating titles, descriptions, and tags to optimize SEO, following video approval from management.
- Monitor YouTube video performance metrics and make data-driven recommendations for optimization.
- Stay up to date with YouTube algorithm changes and industry best practices to maximize video visibility.
- Troubleshoot any technical issues related to video uploads, tags, or metadata.
- Coordinate the selection of shooting locations and obtain necessary permissions from owners or management prior to scheduling.
- Participate in brainstorming creative ideas and research poses before photo or video shoots.
- Schedule models for shoots and handle costume or attire coordination.
- Secure and maintain model release forms as required.
- Contribute to script writing, proofreading, and the production of printed materials as necessary for shoots.
- Prepare, purchase, and transport props to shooting location.
- Assist in gathering, transporting, and setting up equipment for shoot.
- Procure and transport refreshments and swag bags for actors as needed.
- Escort actors around the filming area and coordinate with extras.
- Manage crowd control by setting up signs, directing pedestrians or employees away from filming areas, locking down sets, and notifying staff about recording in Shell FCU common areas.
- Act as a runner, distributing messages or items within film crew and cast.
