A Day in the Life

Supporting CRM Business

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.

  • Develops, inspects, mines, transforms, and models data to raise productivity, improve decision making, and gain competitive advantage.
  • Works with data visualization tools to drive valuable business insights.
  • Provides administrative support to the sales function such as preparing sales and/or expense forecasts, budgets and quotas; coordinating sales meetings; etc.
  • Conducts statistical analysis on sales data and information to ensure optimal sales execution and attainment of growth objectives.
  • Acts as a liaison with information technology groups in identifying and resolving problems.
  • Instructs sales, marketing managers, field area managers, and support staff in accessing sales and marketing information.
  • Engages with internal business partners such as product marketing, contract administration, pricing and offer development, sales enablement, and marketing operations.

Must have: Minimum Requeriments

  • Bachelors degree required
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant data modeling, data analysis, sales reporting, or analytics work experience, or
  • Advanced degree with a minimum of 3 years relevant  data modeling, data analysis, sales reporting, or analytics work experience

Nice to have:

  • Working knowledge with the following applications:
  • Tableau, PowerBI, or other data visualization tools.
  • Alteryx, or similar data prep and advanced analytics platform.
  • SQL, R, or related database languages.
  • Salesforce.com or related CRM tools.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in MS suite of tools, including Excel.
  • Ability to navigate a complex matrix environment and manage competing priorities.

SPECIALIST CAREER STREAM: Typically an individual contributor with responsibility in a professional discipline or specialty. Delivers and/or manages projects assigned and works with other stakeholders to achieve desired results. May act as a mentor to colleagues or may direct the work of other lower level professionals. The majority of time is spent delivering and overseeing the projects – from design to implementation - while and adhering to policies, using specialized knowledge and skills normally acquired through advanced education.

Typically manages major / moderately complex projects, involving delegation of work and review of work products, at times acting as a team leader.

Required Knowledge and Experience: Requires mastery of a specialty area and full knowledge of industry practices, typically obtained through advanced education combined with experience.

May have broad knowledge of project management.

Requires a Baccalaureate degree (or for degrees earned outside of the United States, a degree which satisfies the requirements of 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)( 4)(iii)(A) and minimum 7 years of relevant exp
