Job Description
As a valued colleague on our team, you will contribute to supporting the team in applying mathematical models, advanced tools or techniques (such as SAS, Python, and R), and financial industry knowledge to business or financial data, including model results. Your efforts will enable the team to analyze or report on business performance, solve business questions, or inform business decisions. Work may include developing models or prototypes to achieve these goals, but is not the core focus in the role.

The Financial Engineering Senior Associate (Hybrid) role will offer you the flexibility to make each day your own, while working alongside people who care so that you can deliver on the following responsibilities:
- Collaborate on processing or analyzing large amounts of data efficiently using advanced financial engineering tools and techniques. Determine customer's intended uses for a financial analysis or model.
- Conduct financial analysis or forecasting, which may include scenario or sensitivity analysis, stress testing, or attribution analysis.
- Execute models and/or interpret model results. Translate the results from the analysis or models for the customer into understandable conclusions.
- Work directly with model builders to vet new models, suggest changes to existing models, or analyze model performance data.
- Perform data and systems analysis, validation, and regression testing.
- Lead monthly production processes and look for opportunities to automate recurring tasks.
- Diagnose data related issues and work with data team(s) to resolve and implement solutions.
- Assist with building insightful analysis of financial model results through optimization of databases and current data framework,

Minimum Required Experiences
- 2 years
Desired Experiences
- Bachelor degree or equivalent
- Experience in analyzing large datasets to identify insightful trends or relationships to inform conclusions about the data
- Skilled in the graphical representation of information in the form of a charts, diagrams, pictures, and dashboards with programs and tools such as Excel, MicroStrategy, Tableau, or Power BI
- Experience gathering, distilling, and presenting information to explain concepts and answer critical questions
- Presenting results of analysis to colleagues and senior management in an understandable and cohesive manner
- Working with people with different functional expertise respectfully and cooperatively to work toward a common goal
- Programming including coding, debugging, and using relevant programming languages
- Ability to illustrate/conceptualize processes such as systems, identifying inputs/outputs and subsystems for analysis
- Skilled in one or more of the following: Python//R/Alteryx/SQL
- Experience using Macros in Excel and VBA
- Skilled in Tableau, MicroStrategy, PowerBI or other BI Tools
- Highly Skilled in SQL
- Experience using agile tools such as JIRA is a plus
- Experience using collaboration suites such as Confluence or SharePoint is a plus
- Experience working with and analyzing data related to banking Instruments such as Mortgages and Loans is a plus
- Experience with Management Repository (MR), Transaction Data Mart (TDM), Quantitative Risk Management (QRM) or other similar ALM applications is a plus

- Ability to frame ideas as systems and analyzing the inputs, outputs, and process
- Experience identifying measures, or indicators of system performance, and the actions needed to improve or correct performance to achieve desired outcomes

- Adept at managing project plans, resources, and people to ensure successful project completion
- Skilled in the graphical representation of information in the form of a charts, diagrams, pictures, and dashboards with programs and tools such as Excel, Tableau, or Power BI
