As a critical member of this new organization, the Data Governance Manager will own the development and implementation of data governance, controls, and compliance frameworks. In this new role, you will collaborate with teams across our business to ensure that our new policies, standards, and procedures align with our strategic objectives and regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate has broad experience in this space, with knowledge of a variety of strategies, standards, frameworks and operating models.
What you will do:
- Develop and Implement Strategies: Formulate and roll-out data governance strategies, policies, standards, and procedures, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and requirements
- Compliance and Monitoring: Oversee the development, review, and monitoring of compliance with data governance processes, and lead investigations and reporting of any violations
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams, including global data offices, privacy, and information security, to integrate data governance controls and policies into key organizational processes
- Training and Communication: Design and deliver training programs and workshops, and handle key communications to enhance data governance knowledge and practices across the organization
- Change Management: Facilitate change management activities to ensure the adoption of changes, and implement measurement systems to monitor adoption, utilization, and proficiency
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Data Management, Computer Science, or a related field
- 5+ years of proven experience in developing and implementing data governance and risk management practices at an enterprise level
- Demonstrated experience in compliance with legal and regulatory requirements
- Knowledge of workshop facilitation, change management methodologies, tools, program and project management, and adult education
- Excellence influencing, communication, problem solving, project management and presentation skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- CDMP certification
- Knowledge of, or familiarity with, data literacy, data management and governance, data governance policies and standards
Compensation and Benefits
Salary Range $110,000.00 - $158,000.00 USD
Pay is based on multiple non-discriminatory, individualized factors including but not limited to experience, job-related knowledge and education, skills and office/market location. In addition to base salary, salaried employees are eligible for annual discretionary bonuses, profit-sharing and, for Executive-level (salary grade 16 and above) roles only, long-term incentives in the form of Restricted Stock Units and/or Stock Options.
Subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable benefits plans then in effect, all salaried employees are also eligible for a competitive benefits package which includes:
