The Opportunity
Flock Safety is seeking a Manager, Sales Compensation to own the administration, governance, and ongoing execution of our sales compensation programs as we scale. Reporting to the GTM FP&A Director, this role will partner closely with Sales Operations, Finance, HR, and Accounting to ensure compensation plans are administered accurately, efficiently, and compliantly across all variable-based roles.
You will bring structure, rigor, and operational excellence to the end-to-end sales compensation process, helping ensure timely payouts, strong controls, and clear communication across the organization. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building process, managing complex workflows, and serving as a trusted operational partner to cross-functional teams.
The Skillset
3–6 years of experience in sales compensation, sales operations, FP&A, finance, or a related analytical/operational role
Experience with sales compensation tools such as SPIFF, CaptivateIQ, Varicent, or similar platforms preferred, with strong preference for SPIFF experience
Experience with Salesforce, NetSuite, Coupa, Sigma, or similar systems preferred
WorldatWork Certified Sales Compensation Professional (CSCP) or Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) preferred
Strong attention to detail and comfort handling sensitive, high-impact data and calculations
Ability to manage recurring processes with deadlines, controls, and a high degree of accuracy
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; advanced Excel / Google Sheets skills preferred
Clear communicator who can work effectively with senior leaders and non-finance partners
Comfortable operating in ambiguity and improving processes as the business evolves

The First 30 Days
Build a strong understanding of Flock’s sales compensation plans, administration processes, governance structure, and key stakeholders. Learn the core systems and workflows used to support compensation execution, including payout processes, reporting, and issue resolution. Begin partnering closely with Sales Operations, Finance, HR, and Accounting to understand current rhythms and operating expectations.
The First 60 Days
Independently support recurring sales compensation administration and cycle activities with increasing confidence. Strengthen partnership with cross-functional stakeholders and help maintain accurate, timely, and compliant compensation execution. Review current reporting, controls, and system setup to identify opportunities to improve process efficiency and transparency.
90 Days & Beyond
Own the sales compensation administration process with consistency and confidence. Serve as a trusted operational partner to GTM leadership and cross-functional teams on compensation governance, reporting, and execution. Identify and begin implementing improvements to workflows, controls, and system administration that increase accuracy, efficiency, and scalability.
Salary & Equity
In this role, you’ll receive a starting salary between $120,000 and $155,000 a
