Warehouse Supervisor

Position Summary

• Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7AM-4PM

• 100% on-site in Greendale, IN

Greendale is one of Catalent’s gummy technology development and manufacturing facilities in North America. The site manufactures organic and vegan-based nutraceuticals via confection to enhance wellness for all consumers. 

The Warehouse Supervisor is an integral component of the Supply Chain team that provides accurate details of on-hand inventory and transactions. The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for providing general leadership and direct supervision to the warehouse team. 

The Role

• Oversee and direct the execution of daily tasks and activities.

• Ensure changes in processes and procedures are properly implemented.

• Coordinate inventory transfer from multiple warehouses to support production.

• Comply with SQF, Food Safety Plan (HACCP), and Food Quality Plan (FQP) standards.

• Record and report discrepancy findings; recommend actions for improvement; perform inventory adjustments in the system on a daily basis.

• Work with the Material Planners to understand the sequence of ordering raw materials & ingredients. Coordinate deliveries from vendors to balance out outside storage cost and transportation cost.

• Other duties as assigned.

The Candidate

• Minimum High School Diploma/GED required, Bachelor’s degree preferred.

• 3+ years relevant experience in a manufacturing or warehouse/logistics environment. 

• Supervisory experience preferred.

• Thorough understanding of receiving, inventory and material handling procedures.

• Working knowledge of warehousing and inventory control processes.

• Personnel must be able to frequently reach for, grasp, lift, carry or otherwise handle objects weighing up to fifty (50) pounds; be able to demonstrate the dexterity necessary for fine manipulation components, products, and controls; be able to sit, stand, walk, climb or kneel. The use of Personal Protective Equipment is required in all operations and warehouse areas, including but not limited to slip-resistant protective footwear, protective eyewear, hearing protection, reflective vests, gloves, and smocks. While performing the duties of this role, personnel may routinely work in proximity to or be exposed to lights, loud noises, hot or cold temperatures, moving components, powered industrial vehicles, cleaning materials and other operational conditions.
