General Worker - GSE Mechanic Shop

Pay: $28.00/hour

Key Responsibilities

• full accountability to the GSE Maintenance Manager for assigned tasking
• Assist with the Day-to-Day General Shop Maintenance.
• Cleaning of the GSE equipment in preparation of maintenance, repairs and preservation painting, ensure all work performed is according to GSE Regulations.
• Receive, analyze, assign, and update/follow up on Work related Assignments.
• Report to your Designated Station in a timely and accurate manner
• answers question, retrieves information, or generates reports for management as needed.
• Provide support to the GSE team
• Receives work orders and obtains the necessary tools required for the repair
• Under instruction, proper painting and making of GSE equipment
• General cleaning of shop and ramp areas
• Collecting and returning equipment to and from perspective areas on AOA
• Ensure the safe and secure operations, in accordance with the highest possible standards of health, safety, security and all government statutory requirements.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Minimum three (3) years related experience.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Possess valid US driver's license with a clean driving record with DMV certified copy.
• Pass pre-employment drug screen and all pre-employment testing.
• Ability to proficiently read, write and speak English.
• Must be capable and comfortable lifting 70lbs repetitively.
• Work is done primary outdoors, must be comfortable working in all weather conditions.
• Must pass FBI fingerprint check and obtain customs Seal.
• Must be available and flexible to work variable shifts: all hours/days including nights, weekends and holidays as dictated by operational requirements.
• Graduation from high school or evidence of equivalent education proficiency.
• Ability to properly paint and clean equipment.
