OnsiteJoin the staff of the Collins Aerospace Cargo team. Support the team that assembles and tests a variety of electromechanical components utilized in motorized cargo convenience systems. The role requires an experienced technician to maintain testing equipment and support tasks that allow for seamless manufacturing processes. Candidates should have the education and training that have exposed them to a wide variety of electrical hardware and software analysis, debug and repair. They should also be able to perform testing protocols, calibration and training support. Candidates that have experience in a manufacturing testing environment would be ideal for this role.
What You Will Do:
- Troubleshooting and repairing electrical test equipment, wire harnesses and other support equipment.
- Calibrating test equipment.
- Providing documentation for new test protocols
- Support loading software in production environment.
- Support new product testing rollout.
- Creating software for new automated test protocols.
- Advising management on continued use of unsuitable equipment and processes.
- Ordering of electrical supplies and equipment.
Qualifications We Require:
- Requires an AA/AS degree or other 2 year post high school training with a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience.
- Proficient in reading and fully interpreting Assembly Drawings and Schematics
- Experience with use of test and evaluation measurement equipment, including (but not limited to): DMMs, Oscilloscopes, RF equipment, waveform generators, etc.
- Familiarity with NI LabVIEW and TestSTAND
- Experience with Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, Power point, etc.)
