Global Senior Manager - Client Account Engineering, Contract Logistics

<p><span>The Global - Engineering Account role is responsible for identifying, leading, coordinating, and delivering of high-quality Engineering Solutions for major global accounts within Contract Logistics. This position ensures the seamless integration of engineering, operational and financial strategies of internal DPW teams and key clients. The role is focused on ensuring operational excellence, process standardization, and the delivery of cost effective and innovative solutions across multiple regions. The position will lead efforts on new business opportunities, contract renewals, major engineering projects, and the implementation of global engineering standards for DP World’s clients. Thorough contract logistics knowledge, a financial -technical- and commercial savvy mindset, strong leadership, cross-functional collaboration, and client relationship management are key elements of this role. Global Engineering Account identifies, qualifies, develops, deploys and embeds new functionalities and best practices with DPW worlds support teams (IT, Engineering, Finance etc) to provide a competitive edge for DPW and its customers. The objective of this role is to enable a reduction of company wide resources to design, source, deploy, operate, maintain and repurpose DPW’s best practices, solutions and assets. Supporting Project Engineering, Procurement, Finance and IT for new builds/building expansion programs along with Client communications and key contact relationship management. Identifying, developing and Establishing standards, guidelines and policies for the Engineering Solutions, procurement and maintenance teams in their interactions and deliverables is core to this role to achieve the best TCO. Once established, monitoring and compliance steps to be enacted to maintain the desired quality and TCO standards.</span></p> <p><span>Direct experience of DPW Global key accounts is vital, proven Engineering standarisation and/or Innovation track record at large scale, multi region contract logistic companies is a must.</span></p> <p><span>JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES:</span></p> <p><span><strong>Strategic Engineering Objectives</strong></span></p> <ul> <li><span>Lead and deliver the engineering strategy for designated accounts, ensuring alignment with client objectives, internal business goals, and DP World’s long-term vision incl financial targets.</span></li> <li><span>Oversee the engineering aspects of RFQs (Request for Quotes), business expansions, and contract renewals to secure future growth for clients in the Contract Logistics sector.</span></li> <li><span>Identify, develop, deploy and standardize best practices that give DPW and its customers a competitive advantage through lower cost, better quality of improved lead-times</span></li> <li><span>Lead and deliver process strategies to reduce product and process TCO, solution deployment or enhanced capex repurposing possibilities across DPW</span></li> <li><span>Ability to understand and deviate customer needs per line of business by region to present “best value” solution directions based on the same core DPW principals / systems</span></li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><span><strong>Cross-functional Engineering Relationships</strong></span></p> <ul> <li><span>Establish and maintain strong working relationships with key internal teams, including IT, Automation &amp; Innovation, Quality &amp; Operations, and others, to ensure identification and development of new and existing solutions to ensure smooth delivery and repeatability of solutions.</span></li> <li><span>Collaborate with Sales, Account Management, and Business Development teams to ensure that new business opportunities and engineering solutions are aligned and successful.</span></li> <li><span>Collaborate with Procurement and Finance to develop strategic alliances to develop and source “best value” materials and solutions with a high degree of generic repurposing potential</span></li> </ul> <p><span><strong>Client and Stakeholder Engagement</strong></span></p> <ul> <li><span>Serve as the primary point of contact for major clients, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and engagement in all engineering-related matters.</span></li> <li><span>Lead and coordinate engineering support for new business and account renewals, including solution design, costing, and presenting technical materials during the bidding process.</span></li> <li><span>Identify, develop, “sell” and deploy Engineering “unique selling points” to internal &amp; external stakeholders</span></li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><span><strong>Engineering Standards and Compliance</strong></span></p> <ul> <li><span>Define, implement, improve and monitor engineering and procurement (selection) standards, guidelines, and procedures to ensure the highest levels of quality and consistency in service delivery.</span></li> <li><span>Elevate DP World’s engineering best practices and compliance with safety, quality, and legislative standards.</span></li> </ul> <p><span><stro
