Senior Manager, Project Management – Global Cross-Functional Comms & Operations

As a Senior Manager focused on Project Management in our Global Cross-Functional Comms & Operations team, you will work with our team to establish and operate a first-class Project Management function. You will work with our internal teams to develop, manage and launch priority global campaigns and with subject matter experts to enable the effective management of priority workstreams within their divisions.
Sitting within the Global Communications team, the Global Cross-Functional Comms & Operations team is responsible for developing and driving organization-wide integrated communication initiatives as well as setting the organization up for success by driving collaboration and providing support across strategy & planning and operations functions such as budget management, HR/People, internal comms.

The position will report to the Senior Director, Cross-Functional Comms & Operations, and will work closely with the wider global PR, Social, Influencer & Events teams.
What you’ll do:
Lead the development of a new Project Management function within Global Communications, including process development and tool onboarding
Foster strong relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders
Oversee development of all project communication, including weekly project status meetings, weekly email status updates, all stakeholder communication
Identify process improvements that will optimize project management support for Global Communications organization
Work with internal project teams to develop and maintain detailed project timelines and budgets to ensure optimal delivery of projects
Monitor, assess and flag potential project risks
Manage project budget, including tracking, communication and escalation to ensure projects are delivered on budget
Develop success metrics for project management function
Onboard new project management tool
Contribute to project management skill development across the organization
Boost cross-functional communication to drive enhanced results
Who you are:
8+ years of experience in communications
Proven experience as a Project Manager in marketing and communications field
Strong track record of successful project delivery
Leadership skills, with the ability to form and guide project teams effectively
Demonstrated ability to take initiative and drive projects forward independently
Exceptional relationship-building skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels of the organization
Collaborative mindset and ability to work effectively within a team while also being comfortable working autonomously with a manager based in a different time zone
Excellent writing, communication, and interpersonal skills
Experience working in a fast-paced environment a plus
Experience in large, highly matrixed organizations a plus
Familiarity with Smartsheet a plus

The total cash range for this position in Austin is $146,000 to $204,500. Employees in this role have the potential to increase their pay up to $233,500, which is the top of the range, based on ongoing, demonstrated, and sustained performance in the role.
