In addition to experience, we are seeking a candidate that is empathetic, creative, culturally competent and prioritizes our clients as much as we do! You’ll be offered more than a job. You’ll receive training and support to enhance your skillset in behavioral therapy and growth as an individual. You’ll work with extraordinary team members who share a common goal, to help children with autism be their best selves.

Responsibilities:

· You will teach and nurture behavioral, social, communication, and daily living skills in a 1:1 setting to children with autismin their home or in the community.

· You’ll follow treatment plans developed by BCBAs that help increase the child’s communication, self-help, social and play skills.

· You will relay info on your client’s progress to BCBAs to keep them informed and assist with BCBA assessments.

· At the end of each session, you will accurately record the child’s progress in our data collection system using your work assigned tablet.

· You will be responsible for clocking in, submitting your session notes and clocking out to align with strict ABA and Insurance provider regulations.

· You will voice questions, issues and concerns to your supervisors as appropriate.

· You will help to build positive relationships with families while maintaining professional boundaries.

· You will positively contribute to the Lil Know-It Owls culture.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $22.00 - $27.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 20 per week

Schedule:

• After school
• Evening shift
• Monday to Friday
• Weekends as needed
