Responsibilities:
Tasks may include, but are not limited to:
- Develop and integrate cutting-edge software-based solutions for mission customer-oriented applications and frameworks.
- Writing automated tests to verify code quality
- Implement working applications from mockups provided by designers
Requirements
Minimum Requirements:
- Must be a U.S. Citizen with an active security clearance – TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph
- Strong interest in building dynamic, efficient, and well-engineered software
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or similar
- Proven aptitude to learn quickly
- Ability to work both independently as well as in a team setting
- Strong background in the field of software engineering
- Firm understand of software best practices
Minimum Qualifications:
- Full-Stack Development
- Experience with Java
- Experience with web development using Java / JavaScript technologies such as Vue.js, Node.js, Bootstrap; JSON, SQL.
- Integration and formal test experience
- Ability to deploy test-ready via Jenkins to test environments in MASH
- Knowledge of Confluence, JIRA or similar
- Requirements gathering, documentation and work-flow
- Product result driven / problem resolution ability
Desired Qualifications:
A preferred candidate will have experience with any of the following:
- Experience with MapReduce and Pig is highly desired
- Experience with Data Science
- Experience with Graphic Algorithms
- Experience with Machine Learning
- Experience with AWS
- Cloud development experience such as Hadoop, Big Data (Cloudbase/Accumulo and Big Table) as well as JSON/BSON
- Experience with analytic development
- Experience with Python and streaming capabilities
- Experience with Software Configuration Management Tools such as JIRA, GIT, Confluence and Agile Methodologies
- Experience with Linux
