Schedule and Hours:
- Part-time role: 20 hours per week.
- Flexible schedule within California, PST hours (morning or afternoon shifts can be accommodated).
Responsibilities:
- Assist management in collecting, reporting, and analyzing data-driven insights on key business metrics.
- Conduct comprehensive data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement data-driven strategies, reporting and recommendations.
- Design and maintain dashboards and visualizations to track business KPIs.
- Use statistical tools and techniques to perform quantitative analyses.
- Ensure data integrity and accuracy by regularly cleaning and validating datasets.
- Proactively identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency gains.
- Translate complex findings and insights into a clear and actionable business narrative. Deliver “so what” insights and identify “what’s next” based on insights identified.
- Able to produce visually appealing presentations, using graphs and graphics
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Excellent skills and proficiency with Microsoft Excel (macros, automations and building data models)
- Proficiency with SQL and database management.
- Strong commercial acumen and understanding of business KPIs.
- Ability to quickly learn how to use and navigate different online platforms (CRM, accounting software, etc). NetSuite and experience with Numerator tools a benefit.
- Ability to work in a team and excellent communication skills.
- Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
