Sr. Manager, Product Management, Messaging Customer Experience

GEICO is looking for an accomplished, customer obsessed, and results oriented Senior Manager, Product Management to join GEICO's Engage Product team.
As a Sr. Manager, Product Management in Engage, in partnership with Design, Product Ops, Tech, Marketing, and the Business, you will be responsible for setting the product vision, strategy, and building how GEICO helps its customers understand what’s important through proactive and timely messaging via multiple channels of messaging delivery including email, SMS, mobile notification, etc. This strategy also includes defining frameworks, messaging templates, and working in partnership with the systems teams to enable internal teams to create effective cross-channel messaging efficiently.
Senior Managers of Product Management work quickly across product discovery and product delivery cycles to create innovative, sustainable and customer-centric solutions in matrixed environments. They have an MVP-mindset, can lead 2 or more sprint teams, and can coach and develop junior PMs. Our Senior Managers are comfortable rolling up their sleeves to do the work, while also influencing organizational change through proper scoping, process improvement, and positive team dynamics.

This is a hybrid position, requiring on-site presence for 3 days a week (if within 1 hour from location) at one of the following locations:

The ideal candidate is excellent at:
Leading cross-functional teams that drive results during product discovery and product delivery
Synthesizing business, market, and platform data to identify opportunities, size them, and turn insights into requirements
Leveraging modern architecture & great design to identify problem-solution fit
Evaluating trade-offs and negotiating requirements
Creating and using compelling, informative artifacts to influence stakeholders (ex. Vision, Roadmaps, Features/Epics, Progress Updates, etc.)
Coaching and mentoring Product Managers
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree
• At least 4 years of experience in Agile Product Management
• At least 4 years of experience translating features into consumer or associate facing products
• At least 4 years of experience managing all aspects of a product feature throughout its lifecycle from concept to delivery
• At least 1 year experience with people management
Preferred Qualifications:
• High sense of accountability and strong problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills to influence across the organization
• Insurance industry experience
• Agile certifications (i.e., SAFe, Scrum Alliance, Scrum.Org, ICAgile, PMI-ACP)
Annual Salary
$118,000.00 - $207,000.00The above annual salary range is a general guideline. Multiple factors are taken into consideration to arrive at the final hourly rate/ annual salary to be offered to the selected candidate. Factors include, but are not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the role, the selected candidate’s work experience, education and training, the work location as well as market and business considerations.
