Test Engineer, Advisor

Responsibilities
Peraton has an immediate opportunity for a Test Engineer to join our team. The project environment has multiple software lines each on independent release schedules for several customers. Agile development and testing organized as 3-week sprints. All work done in a Linux environment with CI/CD.
The major project software components consist of:
- Custom Java and JavaScript created by the project development team
- Drools - a Java based business rule management system
- MongoDB
- ElasticSearch (eventually migrating to OpenSearch)
- Custom developed Apache NiFi processors
- Tomcat (Web Application / UI hosting environment)
- Apache NiFi
Qualifications
Position requirements:
- An active TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph
- Eight (8) years’ experience as a Test Engineer in programs and contracts of similar scope, type and complexity is required
- Bachelor’s degree in Math, Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Engineering Management or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required
- Four (4) years of additional Test Engineering experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Standard testing, documentation and methodologies in testing.
- Automated testing
- Atlassian tools; Jira and Confluence

- 508 Compliance
- ElasticSearch / OpenSearch
- MongoDB
- Tomcat
- Gitlab

Target Salary Range
$146,000 - $234,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.Apply for this role
