Knowledge Graph Specialist (Software Engineer)

Must Haves:

• Professional experience developing and managing knowledge graphs and/or identity graphs.
• Proven experience in graph data modelling, graph theory, and database design.
• Experience using reputable graph databases including but not limited to Neo4j, JanusGraph, Stardog, Kuzu.
• Experience designing and developing ontologies.
• Deep knowledge of data structures and algorithms (especially those that work well within the graph domain, e.g., clustering algorithms) and the ability to explain the pros and cons of each.
• Solid understanding of database principles and schema design.
• Programming experience with Python and other relevant languages for graph-based applications.
• Experience with data visualization, especially visualizing graph data structures.

Nice to Haves:

• Proficiency with one of the major graph databases (including but not limited to Neo4j, JanusGraph, Stardog, Kuzu), including mastery of database-specific query languages (Cypher, SPARQL).
• Understanding of machine learning or AI applications leveraging graph data.
• Familiarity with vector databases and similarity search.
• Knowledge of ETL processes for graph data pipelines.
• Experience with cloud-based data warehouses (e.g., Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery).
• Experience with the “modern data stack” (e.g., Airflow, dbt).
