The Team: S&P Global Ratings is a leading provider of independent credit risk research and benchmarks. Within this division, the Financial Services: DeFi and Digital Assets sector plays a crucial role in supporting key initiatives and driving economic growth. You will be part of a professional team of analysts committed to maintaining analytical excellence and delivering exceptional customer service in a supportive and collaborative environment.

Impact/Responsibilities: As a DeFi and Digital Assets Specialist, you will leverage your extensive experience in credit analysis to enhance S&P Global Ratings' expertise in digital asset markets, including decentralized finance (DeFi) and cryptocurrencies. Your responsibilities will include:

• Deepening analytical engagement in digital asset markets.

• Conducting rigorous due diligence to inform our credit rating opinions.

• Analyzing complex data and situations in the digital assets market using appropriate methodologies and criteria.

• Representing S&P Global Ratings at public forums and building effective relationships with issuers, intermediaries, and investors.

• Coordinating with analysts and staff across all levels to ensure seamless integration with analytical processes.

• Training and mentoring team members on DeFi and digital assets topics, while resolving challenging situations.

Compensation/Benefits Information: (Applicable to US candidates) S&P Global anticipates a base salary range for this position of $180,000 to $229,000. The final salary will depend on geographic location, experience level, skill set, training, licenses, and certifications.

What We’re Looking For:
Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree required; postgraduate qualifications or equivalent work experience preferred.

• 7+ years of experience in financial analysis, with deep knowledge of complex sectors.

• Demonstrated expertise in DeFi and digital assets markets.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills, with a proven ability to mentor team members.

• Initiative and proactive leadership capabilities.

• Excellent communication and influencing skills.

• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.

• Commitment to adhering to analytical guidelines and quality standards.

Additional Preferred Qualifications:

• MBA, or equivalent

US Right to Work Requirements: This position is limited to individuals with an indefinite right to work in the United States.

Hybrid Work Requirements: Employees are required to work from the office a minimum of 2 days per week.
