We’re looking for a friendly and organized Patient Coordinator to join our team on a part-time basis, working just two days a week! This role is perfect for someone who enjoys connecting with patients and ensuring each visit starts with a smile.

Affiliated Pediatric Dentistry and Orthodontics is a well-established and reputable Pediatric Dental & Orthodontic practice in Scottsdale that has been serving The Valley for nearly 40 years. As a concierge orthodontic practice, we are dedicated to delivering personalized experiences for our patients of all ages! Our team is committed to creating beautiful smiles and providing top-notch service.  

Position Overview: As the Patient Relations” Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring a seamless and delightful experience for our patients. You will be the first point of contact for our patients and their families, responsible for creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere while efficiently managing administrative tasks. Your professionalism, exceptional customer service skills, and attention to detail will be vital in upholding our reputation for high-end orthodontic and dental care. 

Key Responsibilities: 

Patient Engagement: 

• Greet patients and visitors with warmth and professionalism, ensuring a welcoming first impression. 
• Assist patients with check-in, gather necessary paperwork, and verify insurance information accurately. 
• Maintain a calm and friendly presence, helping patients feel valued and comfortable throughout their visit. 

Administrative Support: 

• Perform essential administrative tasks, including scanning documents, updating records, and preparing patient files for the following day. 
• Keep the lobby area clean, organized, and presentable to enhance the patient experience. 

Appointment & Schedule Management: 

• Manage patient flow throughout the day. 
• Adapt to any unique needs or requests to accommodate patients and families, providing flexibility and understanding. 

Patient Education Support: 

• Provide basic information to patients and families about the dental visit process, addressing questions about routine treatments and procedures. 

Problem Solving: 

• Address and resolve any concerns or issues raised by patients, providing a positive resolution experience with empathy and professionalism.

Requirements

No Dental Experience? No problem!  

We provide on-the-job training for all the skills needed!

• Proficiency in using or learning office software and scheduling systems.
