Ketjen Corporation, a wholly owned subsidiary of Albemarle Corporation, is currently seeking a Stores Supervisor & Maintenance Cost Analyst to support a manufacturing facility in Pasadena, TX. Candidate must be highly motivated to manage the site’s MRO Stores warehouse, supervise Field Services staff (including 5 direct staff), support Department Manager in preparation of yearly budget, perform cost analyst duties for the Maintenance Department and support the site as a Maintenance SAP SME.
Responsibilities include:
- Understanding of safe work practices, industry standards and regulations such as; LOTO, MOC, OSHA, HazMat shipping and other regulatory items relating to plant operation and maintenance
- Good communication skills at all levels of the organization with ability to work in a team environment
- Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks with varied priorities and drive them to closure
- Functional use of the corporate computer systems including use of SAP modules for maintenance (PM), materials management/inventory management, projects, purchasing, various Microsoft packages, and Workday
- Create, schedule, revise and manage the planned maintenance work order program
- Knowledge and practices associated with shipping, receiving and deliveries in a chemical plant
- Process and maintain warehouse inventories, stores returns, and goods receipts (GI, GR, PHY INV)
- Process all requests for material and product shipments (nonhazardous and hazardous)
- Maintenance cost duties – daily and monthly reporting; notification of top spend; communication of Stores inventory value; responsible for weekly contractor service entry management; owner of departmental scorecard; cost center ownership; annual departmental budget preparation
Basic Requirements:
- Minimum of 10 years plant experience in the chemical/petrochemical industry
- Minimum 3 years’ experience supervising a team including front line work staff
- Minimum 5 years’ experience with MRO warehouse management and inventory management
- Supervisory skills including safety awareness of staff, scheduling, and staff development
- Leadership skills including setting/managing goals, priorities, and performance evaluations
- Knowledge of maintenance work practices such as planning and scheduling, bill of materials, functional locations, purchase requisitions, purchase orders, work order handling, and invoicing
