Store Person

Ventia has an exciting permanent full-time position for a Warehouse Store person based at our Defence site in Duntroon ACT. Reporting to the Stores Supervisor, you will be a vital member of our stores and warehousing team.

This is an exciting opportunity where you will receive on the job training in Military equipment and software systems!

 

This is a full-time, permanent position working Monday to Friday, 8am – 4pm.

What you will be doing:

• Organising and controlling the day-to-day workflow.
• Receiving, scanning, sorting, and placing incoming goods on shelves
• Operating machinery such as forklifts
• Assisting with regular stock takes and maintaining cleanliness of work site
   

What you bring to the role: 

• A hands-on, proactive attitude
• Experience in a store and/or warehousing environment
• Forklift License (Essential)
• Physically fit as the job requires prolonged periods of walking, standing, and sitting
• Hold a valid driver’s license.

 
You must be an Australian Citizen and eligible for a Defence security clearance.
