• Assistant Teacher

Job Description:

• Responsible for planning and implementing activities for young children.
• Responsible for positive interactions with children, including those in primary grades, while assisting in the maintenance of a safe and nurturing environment in which children can grow physically, emotionally, socially and cognitively.
• Have knowledge of developmental milestones appropriate for each age group and will effectively assess readiness of children in the class.
• Responsible for the transportation of children when required.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma/GED
• Two years related experience
• Must be able to work independently and keep careful records; have excellent interpersonal skills and verbal and written communication skills.
