We are looking for a Skillbridge Intern to work as a Consulting Architect, Search!  This opportunity is open to Active Military members who are eligible to participate in a Skilbridge internship now through January 2025.

As a Consulting Architect, Search you'll be entrusted with the task of creating captivating proof-of-concepts that highlight the value proposition of the Elastic Stack and its solutions. Your expertise will be the driving force behind accelerating the adoption of Elastic solutions, optimizing queries, fine-tuning clusters, and delivering lightning-fast search and analytics at scale.

In this role, collaboration isn't just a buzzword; it's our way of life. You'll work closely with our engineering, product management, and support teams, ensuring that your insights and feedback from the field shape our products and services. Together, we'll assess technical aspects, identify risks, and seize opportunities to tailor engagements effectively alongside our sales team.

To thrive in this role, we're looking for candidates who bring:

• A degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience).
• A background in open-source machine learning frameworks like PyTorch, backed by
• A genuine passion for open-source technology and proficiency in at least one programming language.
• Strong knowledge of large distributed systems and application infrastructure.
• Eligibility to participate in a Skillbridge internship for a minimum of 4 months
• A coachable personality and a strong sense of urgency
• Ability to work within a matrix environment
• Eagerness to work in a fast-paced, distributed environment with the ability to manage multiple work streams
• Proficiency in Ansible, JavaScript, Terraform, ECK, or Kubernetes.
• Expertise in machine learning and Artificial Intelligence (AI).
• Deep understanding of Java and Linux/Unix environments.

Additional Bonus:

• Deep understanding of E-Commerce search solutions, query development, relevancy tuning, and implementing Natural Language Processing (NLP) use cases.
• Hands-on experience with Elasticsearch and/or Lucene.

What You Will Be Learning:  

• To closely collaborate with our engineering, product management and support teams to shape products and services.
• How to develop a deep understanding of customers’ goals and objectives, and the ability to articulate how our offerings address their needs.
• How to create and own value based relationships at all levels in customer organizations.
• Technical aspects of Elastic products and solutions.
• How to demonstrate the value of our offerings in meetings and events such as meetups and conferences.
• How to be the voice of the customer and community to communicate needs, gaps, and enhancements to our engineering and leadership teams.
