The Role:

The Senior Financial Analyst position is a critical and highly visible role that provides insightful financial analysis and is a key contributor to the Corporate FP&A team. Reporting to the Sr. Director of Finance, this role will drive forecasting and reporting in many facets of the business (revenue, COGS, operating expenses, cash, etc.)  

In addition, this role will be a key contributor to the production and interpretation of key SaaS metrics that depict the health of the business as well as a partner in the implementation of our FP&A software, Adaptive Insights.  

The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong aptitude for interpreting, analyzing, and communicating complex business issues, and identifying opportunities for improvement. Problem solving, prioritization, and attention to detail are critical. This position offers multiple opportunities to showcase analytical skills.

 

Position Details:

• Assist with key strategic finance initiatives 
• Support the reporting and forecasting of revenue, COGS, and cash
• Own the MRR/ARR model that drives the creation of Iterable’s key SaaS revenue metrics
• Manage COGS forecast by working closely with R&D, Procurement, and Accounting
• Drive/support cash forecast vs actuals reporting and modeling
• Own the global assumptions that drive OpEx forecasting for all business units

• Own, maintain, and report on Iterable’s key financial metrics (GAAP & SaaS)
• Contribute to the quarterly board deck and other ad-hoc board communications

• Drive planning and continued implementation of the company’s financial planning system (Adaptive Insights)
• Analyze and drive insights in various company wide initiatives including: product pricing, expense reduction, etc.

 

The Ideal Candidate:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or Accounting
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Corporate FP&A role, preferably at a SaaS/Tech company 
• Exceptional quantitative and financial modeling abilities
• Ability to thrive and multitask in a rapidly evolving, fast-paced environment
• Self-starter - candidate needs to be self-directed and proactive
