Join the Houston Engineering, Inc. (HEI) team and make a meaningful impact on the recruitment and development of existing and future staff! This role will be both hands-on and strategic while providing expertise in areas of talent acquisition and employee development.
Job Description
- With the HR team, develop and execute cohesive recruitment strategies aligned with HEI goals.
- Identify target organizations, user groups, professional associations, or educational institutions to proactively source qualified candidates to build a candidate pipeline.
- Work with HR team, business leaders, and subject matter experts to identify employee development initiatives.
- Design, facilitate, and sustain a variety of organizational-wide learning experiences (classroom, virtual, job-shadow coordination, vendor selection, etc.).
- Build custom content and provide administrative support for the Learning Management System.
- Research and implement programs to nurture employee engagement.
- With leaders, analyze skills gaps and formulate a range of skill-building initiatives to enhance succession planning.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree and SHRM-Certified Professional preferred.
- Six or more years applicable HR experience.
- Strong communication skills; both written and oral.
- Advanced user with Microsoft Office products.
- Ability to work confidentially with private information.
- Positive teamwork orientation; strong organizational skills, self-motivated, high attention to detail, and ability to multi-task.
- Valid Driver’s License and good driving record.
