Just an hour from world-class attractions like Disney World and Universal Studios, Melbourne offers the perfect balance of career growth, family life, and fun, all in a warm subtropical climate with a relaxed, suburban feel.</p> <p><strong>Overview</strong></p> <p>As a Senior Process Piping Engineer, you will lead the design of piping systems for launch sites, test stands, and manufacturing, processing, and support facilities. This includes (but is not limited to) sizing tanks, compressors, pumps, pressure regulators, control valves, vaporizers, heat exchangers, filters and strainers, separators, knockout tanks, phase separators, accumulators, pressure relief devices, vent systems, and manifolds. It also includes selecting instrumentation such as pressure, temperature, flow, and level instruments, transmitters and switches, gauges, control valves and positioners, and associated control and shutdown devices. To be successful in this role, you must be able to translate Owner requirements into design reality and communicate the design through engineering drawings and specifications while following all pertinent codes and regulations. Critical thinking and analytical skills are a must. Teamwork and coordination with other disciplines is essential to a complete design.</p> <p>On a typical day, you will work in CAD programs such as Revit and Inventor for 3D design. CAESAR II, AFT Arrow, and AFT Fathom are often used for analysis, along with Nastran and hand calculations. You will also support budget performance, manage team hours, work closely with Project Managers, and serve as the technical interface with clients, leading page turns, design reviews, and participating in client meetings.</p> <p>If you’re interested in this role but don’t meet every preferred qualification, we still want to hear from you.
