Safety Managers needed - Multiple Steel Mill Maintenance Projects

About the role
Code Red Safety is looking for several safety professionals to oversee maintenance projects at multiple US Steel plants in the Midwest. Projects range in scope and duration with the possibility of working more than one project on a concurrent basis. There will be 2 shifts at these sites, working a 6/10s schedule. You must have previous safety management experience within US Steel. The first project will begin at the Granite City, IL plant mid-January. Only candidates with US Steel safety experience will be considered.

Applicants MUST meet the following requirements:
- Have at least 5 years of safety management experience in a steel mill
- Have one of the following certifications: OSHA 30, OSHA 510, OSHA 500, CHST, or similar
- Have a current FA/CPR certification
- Must be able to pass a drug test & background check
