Responsibilities/Skills/Experience Requirements

Job Requirements: This position requires a Master’s Degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Information Technology or a related field of study plus three (3) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation. Alternatively, the employer will accept a Bachelor’s Degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Information Technology or a related field of study plus five (5) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation. In addition, candidate must have the following skills: (1) Demonstrated Expertise (DE) analyzing, designing and developing high volume applications and solutions using Java/J2EE Components, Spring 5.x, and Hibernate frameworks, and SOAP/Rest Microservices, Kafka, MySQL, and JBoss for online retail applications; (2) DE analyzing and developing Batch applications with high-performance using Spring Batch framework and Web User Interface systems with technologies, including Spring MVC and JQuery; (3) DE analyzing and trouble-shooting and recovery of highly available and high volume ecommerce retail and loyalty applications using Unix, Graphite, Grafana and open source technologies; (4) DE writing high-level codes, design patterns, and JUnit test cases to build high-performance multi-threaded systems that comply PCI and PII standards; and, (5) DE designing and deploying large-scale systems in Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud using CodePipeline, S3, EC2, ECS, and API Gateway with cost optimization.
