Responsibilities

Job Purpose: To support the financial operations of the ISYS Finance department by maintaining an up-to-date accounting system.

Duties:

 

• Tracking and resolving outstanding payment issues
• Conduct account research and analysis
• Interact with customers to resolve outstanding issues
• Process standard AP invoices
• Process expense reports
• Process subcontractor AP invoices
• Reconcile AP vendors and help resolve issues with payments
• Create AR invoices
• Reconcile AR aging and track payments
• Prepare and maintain various reports
• Prepare journal entries for Month-end close
• Prepare monthly reconciliations
• Other duties as assigned

Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Project).• Government Contract Accounting experience a plus• Ability to work and interface well with various organizations and personnel at all levels • Detail oriented and methodical work ethics and ability to work independently• Jamis or other Government accounting software experience a plus

 

Education and Experience:• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Finance/ or other applicable field.• 0 to 2 years of experience related to accounting job duties.
