UX Writer

<p>Work somewhere with the creativity of a scaleup and expertise of an enterprise.</p><p>iGenius is in growth mode and currently seeking a UX Writer to work with our Product Design team!</p><p>As a UX Writer, you will define the voice and tone of iGenius’ Company products, ensuring consistency across our products and platform. The UX Writer works collaboratively with Engineering, Product management, and Design to make and document technical decisions and design assumptions.</p><p><br/></p><p><strong>What You Do in iGenius</strong></p><ul> <li>Provide product copy and functionality notes for wireframes with UX designers.</li> <li>Review completed copy and contextual information in mockups with UI designers.</li> <li>Partner with UX designers and PMs to collect user feedback and conduct tests to optimize product content.</li> <li>Answer questions from engineering as needed to ensure successful implementation of product designs.</li> <li>Focus on written product content and organise content guidelines into a clear and understandable format.</li> <li>Analyze existing content, focusing on reuse opportunities and value for the audience.</li> <li>Create and maintain a comprehensive library of reference guidelines, standards, and workflows.</li> </ul><p><strong>Requirements</strong></p><p><strong>What You Have</strong></p><ul> <li>2-3 years of relevant work experience.</li> <li>Familiarity with methodologies such as Agile, Design Thinking, Lean UX.</li> <li>Familiarity with Atlassian suite (Jira &amp; Confluence).</li> <li>Ability to work in Figma and to hand-off the content to developers in an organized way.</li> <li>Familiarity with maintaining an online documentation repository using either a Content Management System or a static website generator and hosting. Preferred Gitbook or Webflow.</li> <li>Bachelor’s degree in Foreign languages and literatures, Communications, Journalism, or a related field, or equivalent work experience. </li> <li>Must have: native writing levels of Italian &amp; English. </li> </ul><p><br/></p><p><strong>What Would Be Nice To Have</strong></p><ul> <li>Familiarity with German, Spanish, French. </li> <li>Familiarity with Lokalise or similar platforms - localization platform.</li> <li>A portfolio of written work that shows business impact and results.</li> </ul><p><br/></p><p><strong>Who You Are</strong></p><ul> <li>Detail-oriented.</li> <li>Excellent communicator with good relational skills.</li> <li>Effective collaborator with cross-functional teams.</li> <li>Passionate about innovation.</li> <li>Enthusiastic and positive.</li> <li>Able to work both alone and in a team.</li> <li>An English speaker (we’re an international team).</li> </ul><p><strong>Benefits</strong></p><p>With a growing team in four offices—Milan, NYC, London and Lausanne, Switzerland —iGenius is a scaleup that thinks like an enterprise, where talented innovators can thrive and people come first.
