CT Operator Lead

Job Description Summary:

Hubbard is looking for someone to fill the position of CT Operator lead. We are seeking an outstanding individual who will be responsible and accountable for the CT program. This person will work in collaboration with the selection team, in addition to production, vet services, and maintenance. This position will report to the program geneticist.

Requirements:

• 1+ years of experience in a poultry/agriculture role
• Basic computer skills
• Some mechanical/electrical skills
• Candidate must be willing to travel to accommodate CT training with the CT manufacturer
• Ability to work flexible hours- including weekends
• Current Valid Driver’s License
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Strong decision-making and problem solving skills

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Gathering  accurate/error-free CT images of birds using CT machines and software
• Working closely with Selection Team managers and staff
• Setup, breakdown, and cleaning equipment
• Downloading and deleting files relating to the CT program
• Bi weekly reports on CT performance/records
• Candidate will also be required to perform tasks within the selection team as instructed by the program geneticist
• Biosecurity, Animal welfare, and Health & Safety are major responsibilities
• May be asked to perform other duties deemed necessary by manager

Physical Requirements:

• Primary work environment is at the grow farm facility.
• Requires standing, walking, bending over to pick up birds, and light-to-moderate lifting in an agricultural and live bird setting.
• Travel to grow farm facilities is required.
• Some international/domestic travel might be required
