About the role

 

Dorman Products, a nearly $2B global supplier of aftermarket motor vehicle parts with 3,500+ Contributors and 28 sites across the globe, is seeking a Team Coordinator to join our growing team! As a Team Coordinator for Dorman, you will provide foundational support to Engineering team members through the coordination and hands-on assistance with product samples and testing, documentation, and vehicle testing. This position is in the office Monday through Friday, with the ability to occasionally WFH on Friday.

 

Primary Duties

  • Sample Coordination
    • Order, organize, and manage team sample inventories (OE, competitor, and Dorman).
    • Ensure samples are available when requested.
    • Ship samples domestically and internationally.
    • Provide timely updates to the appropriate stakeholders when samples are shipped and/or received.
    • Manage sample budget and highlight opportunities to reduce sample spend without impacting development timelines.
  • Vehicle Try-on Support
    • Find specific vehicle applications and schedule appointments to verify product compatibility.
    • Support project stakeholders to ensue try-ons go smoothly with scheduling and hands on assistance
    • Manage team owned vehicles.
  • Product Testing Support
    • Check-in Dorman samples sent for engineering review, inspect packaging, upload factory test reports to open inspections, record product attributes, and submit samples to testing.
    • Support project stakeholders to ensure testing is documented and completed with some hands-on assistance
    • Submit approved samples for website photos and verify or create control samples.
  • Office Coordination
    • Order and organize office supplies for the team.
    • Maintain team product displays to ensure they represent latest products.
    • Other duties as assigned

 

Qualifications

  • Microsoft Office including basic Excel skills required.
  • Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced team environment.
  • Strong organization skills.
  • Must be comfortable working within multiple systems.
  • Comfortable with hand tools and working around vehicles.

 

Education and/or Experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required, Associates degree preferred.
  • Automotive Parts or Service experience strongly preferred.
  • 0 to 2 years of relevant experience.
