The Senior Azure Platform Engineer is responsible for working with teams across the organisation to develop and build the re-usable or shared service components of the Cloud Platform.</p> <p><span><strong>What you'll be doing:</strong></span></p> <ul> <li>Design and maintain the building blocks of the cloud platform across Azure</li> <li>Ensure that the platform remains secure via vulnerability scans and infrastructure backup updates</li> <li>Drive the automation of infrastructure provisioning process</li> <li>Select the appropriate Azure service based on data, compute, database, or security requirements</li> <li>Oversees the build and operation of fast and scalable infrastructure deployment workflows</li> <li>Helps architect and design the transformational journey into the cloud platform services</li> <li>Includes the implementation and delivery of cloud products and services, configuration management, Infrastructure as Code template development,</li> <li>Testing and Troubleshooting</li> <li>Deliver excellent customer outcomes through technical expertise</li> <li>Build and maintain relationships across engineering</li> </ul> <p><span><strong>What you'll need:</strong></span></p> <ul> <li>Completed training and certifications with Azure DevOps/Azure Solutions Architecture.</li> <li>Experience in implementing cloud security policies and standards</li> <li>Understanding of technical cloud infrastructure and configuration</li> <li>Experience with infrastructure as code(Teraform)</li> <li>Experience in Agile and DevOps methodologies</li> <li>Experience with CI/CD and source code management tools</li> <li>Demonstrated problem analysis and resolution skills</li> <li>Understanding of Cloud Automation for standardisation and re-use</li> <li>Design of native Cloud applications, Cloud application design patterns, and practices</li> <li>Knowledge of Enterprise Architecture Frameworks and the Azure Well Architected framework</li> <li>Designing, building, and operating global IT infrastructures</li> <li>Experience in hosting cloud infrastructure and applications</li> <li>A keen interest in new technologies and ability/willingness to research and self-study to keep technical skills relevant</li> <li>Excellent problem resolution skills</li> </ul> <p><span><strong>Who you are:</strong></span></p> <p><strong>You're open<em>:</em> </strong>We are inclusive and collaborative; we encourage the free exchange of ideas; we respect and celebrate diverse views.
