Enterprise Systems Manager
Location: Chandler, AZ (Primarily On-site) Reports To: Chief Information Officer (CIO)
Position Summary
The Enterprise Systems Manager serves as the strategic IT owner for all financial platforms and enterprise applications within our publicly traded organization. This is a high-impact, hands-on role responsible for the technological roadmap and operational excellence of our financial systems, with a heavy focus on Sage Intacct and the digital transformation of our business units.
A primary focus of this role is the architectural ownership and IT leadership of our newly established Shared Services Center, which centralizes Accounting and Operations functions. As we migrate multiple business units to a unified financial platform, you will lead the charge in process automation, AI integration, and systems optimization. While this is currently an individual contributor role requiring deep technical execution, future team expansion is possible. Based in our Chandler office, you will act as a key liaison between local IT and the CIO.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Systems & Strategy

System Ownership: Act as the primary IT owner for Sage Intacct and all ancillary financial, treasury, automation, and shared services platforms.

Implementation & Migration: Lead the end-to-end IT implementation of Sage Intacct for additional business units, ensuring data integrity and business continuity.

Vendor Management: Manage the IT portion of strategic relationships with software vendors and third-party consultants to ensure service level agreements (SLAs) are met and value is maximized.

Shared Services Leadership: Own all IT-related aspects of the shared services center, ensuring the infrastructure supports a high-volume, centralized accounting and operations environment.
Process Engineering & Innovation

Automation & AI: Identify opportunities to replace manual tasks with automated workflows and AI-driven solutions to increase departmental efficiency.

Business Process Redesign: Partner with Accounting, Finance, Operations, and Treasury business owners to document "as-is" processes and design "to-be" workflows that leverage modern system capabilities.

Integration Management: Identify, document, and manage requirements for system interfaces between Intacct and other platforms.
Execution & Operations

Hands-on Execution: Directly perform system configurations, troubleshooting, and technical project management.

Quality Assurance: Lead the Quality Assurance (QA) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) processes for all system implementations, patches, and custom interfaces.

Risk Mitigation: Proactively identify project and systemic risks, developing mitigation strategies to protect financial reporting accuracy.

Local Liaison: Serve as the on-site IT bridge for Chandler-based staff, ensuring support needs are escalated and resolved by tech support team.
Experience & Education

Years of Experience: Minimum of 10 years in IT, with at least 3 years in a management capacity (covering both program and people management).

Public Company Expertise: Proven experience as the IT owner of financial systems within a publicly traded company, including deep familiarity with SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley) compliance and IT General Controls (ITGC).

System Proficiency: Hands-on experience with Sage Intacct is preferred.
