Qualifications
Our People & Culture Country Partner Lead for Germany plays a crucial role in supporting the People and Culture Business Partners (PCBP), Line management, and employees in a specific geographical location or country. This role provides local support and guidance to peers to ensure the smooth and effective functioning of People & Culture processes within that specific country in line with local regulations and labour laws. The People & Culture Country Partner Lead helps build a strong, compliant, and engaged workforce within that country and manages the People & Culture function in a way that supports the matrix organisation.
As the People & Culture Country Partner Lead for Germany, you will report directly to the People & Culture Country Partner Manager and, in a matrix (dotted line), to the Country Lead People & Culture Business Partner. You will be part of a team of Country Partners based in Sweden, Denmark, Germany, the Netherlands, and the UK. You will be responsible for Germany and will lead a local team of People & Culture Country Partners.
Main Responsibilities and Tasks
Act as Personalleiter including acting as a bridge between management and employees
Lead the local PCCPs to ensure alignment and clarity on priorities.
Support, guide, and help employees and managers with general or complex P&C-related topics.
Manage all stakeholders and work effectively in a matrix.
Support offers, changes in contracts, onboarding, internal transfers, termination, and exits of employees.
Advise management, PCBPs, and local employees on local P&C policies, processes, and local labour law-related issues.
Inform employees about local P&C-related topics like terms and conditions and collective labour agreements.
Support the recurring P&C annual wheel such as performance management and salary review at a local level.
Act as a P&C project lead and be in charge of for the full scope of the project, including supporting implementation and communication.
Support MDs, managers, and PCBPs with Workers Council negotiations.
Optimise local P&C processes and policies and inform relevant stakeholders and employees accordingly.
Work collaboratively with other P&C colleagues to provide local P&C solutions to the business.
Support the implementation of new ways of working with HR Direct and other local P&C stakeholders.
Act as a trusted advisor for the respective geographical region or country.
Conduct training on various P&C processes within the P&C annual wheel.
