Collins Aerospace in Windsor Locks, CT, is seeking an experienced Manager,  Electrical Test Engineering to oversee an Electrical Test Engineering group responsible to Design, implement, and maintain test processes for Space Systems hardware using lean philosophies and techniques.

This is an onsite role, located in Windsor Locks, CT.

What You Will Do:

• Drive action in the development, planning & implementation of timely and effective corrective actions for problems during product manufacturing and testing
• Interface aspects of the engineering department including testing, and data analysis
• Interpretation/analysis of customer test requirements and subsequent cost estimates to support an appropriate test program
• Daily interface with Program, Manufacturing, Quality and Engineering organizations to ensure that customer committed hardware and data deliveries are consistently met
• Support objectives for operating budgets, capital plans, and cost savings targets
• Ensure that utilization and labor efficiency are achieved
• Ensure all training and skills are assessed to ensure no critical skills gaps

Qualifications You Must Have:

• U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract 
• Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 12 years of relevant experience

Qualifications We Prefer:

• Experience with advanced instrumentation and data acquisition systems is required
• Knowledge of LabVIEW desired
• Experience should also include 7+ years working on the testing of electrical systems and components such as motor controllers, actuator controls, & system controllers
• Experience with a MRP (Manufacturing Resource Planning) system is desirable
