We are currently seeking a Space planning Project manager to join our team in Rockville, Maryland (US-MD), United States (US).

Position Overview:
We are seeking a candidate to support our client in providing expertise for tenant improvements, mainly focused on FF&E reconfiguration and modifications to Administrative and Lab office space. This person demonstrates proficiency with demountable wall products, modular systems and freestanding furniture layouts, noting needed components to accomplish configurations, to coordinate installation drawings with vendors, complying with manufacturers’ products and client’s design standards, conducting market research for new product lines, vendor/dealership quotations, preparing procurement packages, presentation documents and deliverables with an emphasis on graphic communications and quality assurance, while adhering to the client’s process. Your ability to perform inside of a close team, openly receive guidance, apply mature sensibilities for appropriate communication, and synthesize critical paths to accomplish mission goals are essential aspects of this position. It is the responsibility of every team member to create and maintain a respectful environment of professional decorum.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and coordinate schematics and Design Intent Drawings (DIDs), adhere to manufacturer and client space and furniture standards, conduct market research informing FF&E recommendations; scopes of work, project schedules and implementation oversight.
- Planning and Project coordination support including, but not limited to:

- Create planning packages for interior renovations/reconfiguration inclusive of architectural finishes, space plans, and FFE schematics with product recommendations.

- Coordinate existing base building conditions with interior design, FF&E elements and supporting technology requirements (power/data, AV, IT), facilitate move and relocation activities.

- Conduct site surveys/field verifications for compliance with approved Construction Documents (CDs) and shop drawings, inspect furniture installations, develop punch lists, monitor installation and remediation to completion.

- Manage documents and project records, base building/FF&E finish binders, summary reports, and ensure project metrics are consistent with client records management.
- Prepare IGCEs for budget planning; review price proposals and related contractors bids as requested.
