Senior Technical Product Manager of Data

Position Overview:

The Senior Technical Product Manager of Data will be responsible for driving the strategic direction and execution of data products, working closely with business stakeholders, technical teams, and leadership to define and deliver impactful solutions. This role will translate complex technical concepts into clear, actionable business requirements, and develop detailed user stories to guide product development for Dutch Bros. This role involves developing long-term data product plans, prioritizing features, and leading stakeholders through the roadmap process to ensure alignment with business goals. The position will also involve monitoring product utilization, identifying trends, and recommending opportunities for optimization and new initiatives to drive business outcomes. A key part of the role will be designing, implementing, and managing GenAI data management products while supporting the enablement of master data and domain-specific data products. The individual will collaborate cross-functionally to support data use cases, ensure successful integration of AI-driven products, and measure product success through KPIs to drive continuous improvement. Additionally, this role will help drive innovation in a fast-paced, Agile environment, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development across the team.

Job Qualifications:

• Bachelors in Computers or any relevant Bachelors Degree, required.

• Project management experience, preferred.

• Cloud and Snowflake experience, preferred.

• Ability to translate complex technical concepts for business stakeholders and vice versa.

• Experience in activities which include gathering business requirements, working with technical SMEs to translate into Technical user stories/features.

• Ability to develop long term data product plans and prioritize features.

• Experience driving cross-functional teams and aligning diverse stakeholders on data initiatives.

• Experience working in Agile environments, leading sprints, and prioritizing backlog.

Location Requirement: 

This role is located in the Greater Phoenix area. This position is required to be in office 4 days per week (Mon-Thurs); Fridays are optional remote work days.

Key Result Areas (KRAs):

• Partner with engineering teams to build scalable, reliable, and secure data pipelines, warehouses, Reports and governance frameworks.

• Work with business, analytics, and engineering teams to ensure data products meet organizational needs and drive measurable impact.

• Enable data literacy across business teams

• Manage the product backlog, define requirements, and drive execution using Agile methodologies, ensuring timely delivery of high-impact data solutions.

• Leads stakeholders through roadmap process for aligned products

• Monitors data product utilization and identifies trends and proposes optimization and future opportunities to enable business outcomes

• Performs market analysis for our business needs, architects

• Supports enabling of master data products, domain data products

• Design, implement and manage GenAI data management products

• Drive innovation and manage fast paced agile environment, cultivating an environment of continuous learning 

• Collaborate with other product teams across teams to influence and support data product use cases

• Supports business with data analysis 

• Work with business, analytics, and engineering teams to ensure data and AI-driven products meet organizational needs and drive measurable impact.

• Support advanced analytics and GenAI applications

• Work with business teams in defining KPIs to measure the success of data products and drive continuous improvement.
