About the Role

The People and Culture team is looking for a creative, resourceful, and organized People & Culture ("P&C") Business Partner to join the team in (Insert Location).  This role is a site-based role, requiring at least 4 days onsite. As a key contributor to Stitch Fix's growth, you will be responsible for fostering a thriving culture, engaged teams, and a more productive and profitable business. Collaborating with cross-functional leaders, you will identify, develop, and implement strategies that align with business needs, ensuring the right talent, structure, culture, and processes are in place for sustained impact. You will work closely with Recruiting, Growth and Development, Total Rewards, and Operations leaders on the People and Culture team to develop these strategies. Reporting to the Business Partner Manager at the (Insert Location) facility, you will play a pivotal role in the Business Partner Org.

  • Proficient Leave of Absence (LOA) Management: Demonstrated expertise in supporting the end-to-end Leave of Absence processes in partnership with our LOA team, including understanding legal regulations, documentation, communication strategies, and ensuring a smooth transition back to work for employees. Support our employees in navigating personal concerns using our benefits including LOA, Worker's Compensation and Employee Assistance Program
  • Safeguarding Employee Data and Confidentiality: Prioritize the security and confidentiality of employee data by adhering to data protection protocols. Maintain strict compliance with relevant privacy regulations and internal policies to ensure sensitive information remains secure. Take ownership of maintaining accurate and up-to-date employee data.
  • Streamlining Operational Processes: Identify opportunities to optimize and streamline operational workflows across various departments. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement efficient processes that enhance productivity, minimize bottlenecks, and improve overall operational effectiveness.
  • Collaboratively manage the new hire orientation process and ensure I-9 compliance: Partner closely with the training specialist in new hire orientation to meticulously oversee I-9 verification processes to ensure legal and regulatory adherence.

  • Possess 2+ Years of Experience in People-Centric Roles: Preferred background in Human Resources or related fields, demonstrating a track record of focusing on individuals' needs.
  • Display Innate Problem-Solving and Critical Thinking Skills: Employ sound judgment to ingeniously overcome challenges, with the ability to work autonomously.
  • Exhibit Exceptional Organizational Abilities: Showcase meticulous attention to detail in devising and executing plans. Adapt and modify strategies as necessary based on internal and external insights.
  • Demonstrate Proficiency in Excel and Google Docs: Have a command of these tools to effectively manage data and documentation.
  • Excel in Written Communication and Design: Display strong written communication skills in various formats, including verbal, email, and signage. Additionally, possess an eye for visually appealing design.
