Senior Tech Lead - Hospitality & Retail Systems

This newly created role will define and execute the technical strategy for our hotel, retail and distribution systems — including booking platforms, payment solutions, channel management, and pricing engines.</p> <p>You will lead a team of IT Service Managers and System Specialist, manage key technology partnerships, and ensure our platforms are scalable, secure, and aligned with our growth ambitions. </p> <p></p> <p><strong>Who are you?</strong></p> <p>We believe you are a IT leader with a strong technical foundation and a passion for building and improving business-critical systems. You are confident in both strategic and operational settings and thrive in a role where technology meets business. </p> <p><strong>You likely bring:</strong></p> <ul><li>Proven experience leading IT teams and projects in hospitality, retail, or similar industries</li><li>Hands-on experience managing ERP, POS, and e-commerce platforms</li><li>Familiarity with pricing, distribution, and revenue management systems</li><li>Knowledge of system governance, lifecycle management, and vendor collaboration</li><li>Ability to work across digital and physical touchpoints with cross-functional teams</li><li>Strong strategic thinking with the ability to align technology with business goals</li><li>Structured, methodical, and delivery-focused mindset</li><li>Excellent communication skills in Swedish and English</li><li>A degree in computer science, system development, or related field</li></ul> <p><strong>About Scandic: </strong></p> <p>Scandic Hotels is highly committed and proactive when it comes to Diversity &amp; Inclusion initiatives.
