About the role

The Regional Inventory Analysis Manager – Western Hemisphere role is indispensable for maintaining a well-balanced and efficient inventory system. Through comprehensive analysis, strategic planning, and robust support, the manager ensures that inventory levels are optimized, costs are controlled, and supply chain operations are smooth and responsive. This role not only contributes to immediate operational success but also supports long-term strategic goals by enhancing the overall inventory management process.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support the supply chain operating models in assigned facilities related to the supply and manufacturing environments ETO, CTO, MTO etc.
  • Facilitate the Demand-Driven Operating Model (DDOM) by developing, implementing, and maintaining the model to align inventory strategies with demand variability and improve overall supply chain efficiency.
  • Facilitate monthly MIPS+ / DDOM Buffer Review process for assigned facilities.
  • Facilitate Modeling teams for Material Planning and Scheduling and Execution for assigned facilities.
  • Manage Planning and Scheduling master settings for assigned facilities.
  • Oversee Daily Management System in assigned facilities for materials and planning KPIs (quantitative and qualitative metrics).
  • Support guidelines, KPIs and standards by which the company’s operational efficiency and effectiveness can be evaluated.
  • Provide thought leadership on supply chain planning processes. 
  • Oversee and integrate the flow of materials and information among suppliers, operations/manufacturing, distribution, and customers.
  • Visit locations to ensure expectations are being met while using visits as opportunities to train and develop supply chain personnel.
  • Reviews industry technology trends: aggressively develop strategies, plans and schedules for process improvements and implementation of best practices. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to improve Flow across the supply chain.
  • Support a global design for demand rationalization where the global manufacturing sites can be loaded and utilized more evenly.  Once established facilitate the demand and supply planning reconciliation for assigned Hemisphere.
  • Facilitate S&OP framework in assigned facilities.
  • Collate and analyze data to aid strategy formulation and decision-making. 
  • Continually review all respective departmental procedures, practices, and processes to achieve optimum levels of efficiency.
  • Carry out other duties as and when business requirements dictate as may be reasonably expected by your supervisor.
  • Travel when required both domestically and internationally to support the goals of the business or project.
  • Generate and analyze over allocation reports to identify discrepancies and ensure inventory accuracy.
  • Conduct detailed analysis to monitor and improve inventory performance with assigned locations.
  • Design and implement buffer strategies to ensure inventory availability while minimizing excess stock.
  • Lead and participate in weekly inventory meetings to review current inventory status and address any issues.
  • Monitor and manage average stock turns to achieve targeted inventory turnover rates.
  • Provide ongoing support to various locations .by offering detailed information on inventory increases for Finished Goods, Raw Materials, and Work-In-Progress (WIP).
  • Develop and establish processes to ensure accurate lead times and inventory data management.
  • Assist locations with data mining and report extraction using Power BI, Incorta, or similar reporting solution to support informed decision-making.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for field questions pertaining to inventory movements, providing timely and accurate information to address inquiries and resolve issues.
  • Assist in data cleanup and implementation efforts related to the Demand-Driven Operating Model (DDOM) to ensure data accuracy and effective model integration.
  • Develop and track key inventory metrics to ensure efficient inventory management and lower inventory levels.
  • Ensure all company policies surrounding purchasing, health & safety, quality requirements and housekeeping are met. 
  • Fully accountable for achieving all relevant KPIs. 

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field such as Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or related fields
  • 5+ years of relevant experience is preferred in lieu of degree.
  • Advanced knowledge of ERP Systems.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite and particularly Excel and Power Point.
  • Familiarity with some data visualization tools such as PowerBI, Tableau, Incorta, Cognos in an administrative cap
