A Wine Educator at Ram’s Gate is a passionate hospitality professional who thrives on building genuine connections while delivering immersive wine-tasting experiences. This role ensures every guest feels welcomed, valued, and at home. The ideal candidate has a natural curiosity, a love for storytelling, and a deep appreciation for sharing thoughtfully crafted wines from our certified organic vineyard. With keen attention to detail and a collaborative spirit, this individual is dedicated to creating seamless and engaging guest experiences.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Welcome every guest with genuine hospitality—whether it is their first visit or they are long-time friends of the winery.
• Develop a deep understanding of Ram’s Gate wines and experiences, confidently sharing insights to enrich the guest journey by sharing the story behind our wines and vineyards during each wine-tasting
• Work with adaptability and strong collaboration with the hospitality, culinary, and concierge teams to ensure smooth operations and enhance the overall guest experience.
• Exhibit ego-less hospitality in every wine tasting by prioritizing the authentic and engaging guest experience.
• Actively build strong guest relationships and tailored experiences by capturing all guest preferences and details accurately.
• Respond to guest, hospitality team, membership team or management requests in a timely, professional, and service-focused manner.
• Support and enhance exclusive winery and membership events through guest engagement and assisting with event setup and breakdown, including furniture arrangements, décor, and equipment placement.
• Represent Ram’s Gate as an ambassador and storyteller while also serving as a secondary point of contact for outside properties, off-site events, and local referral sources.
• Stay informed about wine industry trends, compliance regulations, and inter-state shipping laws to assist guests with purchases and shipments.
• Take pride in maintaining a beautiful and inviting space along with upholding service excellence through the cleanliness and upkeep of all hospitality-related tools.
• Cultivate lasting relationships through personalized wine-tasting experiences while skillfully driving wine sales, long-term club memberships, and estate offerings. 
• Be an ambassador for our culture and values, helping shape a workplace that is positive, supportive, and passionate about wine and people.

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS:
