Job Summary

This position will manage the Human Resources function of the MCTC including employment processes, compensation and benefits, employee relations, and employee development.

Job Duties:

- Oversee and support employment processes including advertising, recruitment, salary calculations, offer letters, contracts, applicant training, performance evaluation process, resignations and retirements.

- Provide orientation, mentoring and development programs for employees. Coordinate professional development opportunities and manage PD (Professional Development) Tracker.

- Manage compliance related to FMLA, worker's compensation, unemployment, annual training, FLSA, etc. Provide oversight of OSHA reporting.

- Manage employee relations and grievance issues.

- Participate/lead college and system office HR related teams and initiatives.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelors Degree in Business, Human Resources, or Related Field and 3-5 years of experience. 

Preferred Qualifications:

SHRM-CP/SCP preferred.
