Our offices boast a fully international team working together in a flexible, multicultural, and constructive environment that provides everyone with space to grow, both professionally and personally.</p> <p><span><strong> </strong></span></p> <p><strong><em>To learn more about TheFork and our Forkies, explore our official site: <a href="https://www.careers.thefork.com">https://www.careers.thefork.com</a></em></strong></p> <p> </p> <p> </p> <p><strong>As a Senior Data Scientist</strong>, you will be part of the<strong> Data Enlightenment team</strong> (including Data Scientist, Software Engineers and Product Managers) having the mission to “empower TheFork with a strong data foundation and culture, leveraging Data Science and AI, leading to disruptive marketplace innovations”.</p> <p>You will <strong>report to the Data Science Manager</strong> and be part of a team of 3 other Data scientists.</p> <p> </p> <p><strong>What you will do:</strong></p> <p>As a key player of the Data Science team, you will be onboarded within one product team to help them <strong>accelerate their strategy and related projects </strong>thanks to Data Science/ML/IA. </p> <p>You will have the opportunity to work on <strong>TheFork B2C </strong>(website/app) and <strong>B2B</strong> (TheFork Manager) <strong>products</strong>. You will develop a deep understanding of TheFork value proposition for B2C/B2B customers in order to deliver best in class data products involving ML/IA and integrated within our Product.</p> <p>Example of projects you could be involved in : </p> <ul> <li>Build recommendations algorithms to be integrated on our app / website</li> <li>Improve the way restaurants are ranked in our search engine</li> <li>Build an agentic system to answer diner questions</li> <li>Leverage GenAI to generate restaurant description from reviews</li> <li>Generate text descriptions from images to improve our restaurant knowledge</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p>The expected outcomes of your role are:</p> <ul> <li><strong>High business value for projects deployed in production</strong></li> <ul> <li>Build with your product team impactful projects around personalization, search, product content, forecasting, GenAI… to be delivered in production</li> <li>You’ll work closely with product managers, software engineers, ops and other data stakeholders  in order to deliver well shaped, monitored and actionable projects for B2C/B2B end users.</li> </ul> </ul> <ul> <li><strong>Scalable and performant assets</strong></li> </ul> <p><strong>All the assets produced to deliver these projects should be scalable, performant and cost efficient.
