Physician Assistant - WCMC Trauma Center - Per Diem - 12 Hour - Variable Shift

Job Description:

The Physician Assistant - Specialties provides clinical expertise caring for patients undergoing surgery and invasive procedures through the
continuum of care. The Physician Assistant - Specialties w ill function in collaboration w ith physician team members caring for their specialties'
population of patients to provide care using standardized procedures.

Education:

• 2 years Coursework Behavioral Science Preferred

• Approved Physician Assistant's Program Required​

Experience:

• 2 years Healthcare - Vascular Services Required for Specialty

• 2 years Medical Imaging - Interventional Radiology Required for Specialty

• Medical Imaging - Invasive Cardiology Required for Specialty

• Healthcare - Cardiovascular Procedural Patients Required for Specialty

Certifications/Licensures:

• PA Physician Assistant - PAB California Board of Physician Assistant Board Required

• CPA Certified Physician Assistants - National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants Required

• DEA Drug Enforcement Agency - US Dept of Justice - Drug Enforcement Administration Required

• BLS Basic Life Support - American Heart Association Required

• ACLS Advanced Cardiac Life Support - American Heart Association Preferred

Work Shift:

08.0 Per Diem No Waive (United States of America)

Pay Range:

$92.07 - $138.11

Hourly

Offer amounts are based on demonstrated/relevant experience and/or licensure.Pay will be adjusted to the local market if hired outside of the Bay Area.
Note: Positions at JMH which are exempt (not eligible for overtime) under the level of Manager are listed as hourly for compensation purposes on this posting. The work shift will contain the word ‘exempt’ on it.
