Northrop Grumman is seeking a Manager of Pricing and Estimating 3 for the newly established Mission Next Division, within the Mission Systems sector. This on-site position at the Linthicum, Maryland location will provide Division-level oversight to include the Northrop Grumman Microelectronics Center, Emerging Capabilities Development, and other business areas, across multiple sites including Apopka, FL and Redondo Beach, CA.

This position will focus heavily on pricing strategies that enable rapid, competitive entry into emerging and fast-moving markets.  The role will be responsible for balancing speed, flexibility and compliance while ensuring pricing decisions align with business objectives and customer value propositions. 

 

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement dynamic pricing strategies to support accelerated acquisitions.

  • Establish scalable pricing models and pricing governance frameworks that streamline proposal development and support rapid quote turn-around across both government and commercial transactions.

  • Champion Estimating System compliance, advising leadership and proposal teams of pricing requirements/obligations and provide interpretation. Make informed decisions in a timely manner, offer guidance, and work cooperatively with a multitude of organizations.

  • Partner with Business Management, Contracts, and Proposal leads to propose, evaluate, and negotiate complex pricing scenarios including award fee, incentive fee, and hybrid contract structures. 

  • Shape pricing narratives and negotiation positions that communicate value, risk posture, and incentives to customers and executive leadership.

  • Grow a high performing and motivated team.

  • Interface with customers, building strong customer relationships focused on shared success.

  • Solve complex problems by actively seeking information and ideas from a variety of sources.

 

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution with 10+ years of relevant experience or Master’s Degree with 8+ years of relevant experience in contract administration/management.

  • A minimum of 2 years in a leadership role; prior experience managing teams.

  • Experience with FAR/DFARS.

  • Experience negotiating complex transactions.

  • Ability to obtain and maintain TS/SCI with Full Scope Poly level clearance
