We use wireless, infrared and visible light sensing to detect but also predict health issues before they occur.</p> <p>We are deployed in hospitals for pilots throughout the world, and are finalizing our bench tests before starting clinical trials in October. We will ship our first certified devices in the first quarter of 2024.</p> <p>Our founder <a href="https://www.linkedin.com/in/alexandrewinter/">Alex Winter</a> is a pioneer and repeat entrepreneur in computer vision and machine learning, started, grew and exited to venture backed startups in the field.</p> <p>We are venture backed by top tier VCs, headquartered in Brooklyn with offices in Paris, France.</p> <p>Come join us to build the future of ambient, predictive health, saving lives and making people live longer and happier, at home.</p> <h1><strong><br/></strong></h1><h1><strong>The position</strong><br/></h1> <p>We are looking for a Senior Backend and DevOps Engineer, to develop and scale the platform connecting our devices and our users.</p> <p>Working closely with the CTO, you will have a unique opportunity to shape our technical and production architecture and be instrumental in building a revolutionary set of contactless automated health monitoring products.</p> <h2><u>What you will do:</u></h2> <ul><li>Solve problems on the boundary of software, hardware, AI and the real world</li><li>Design, build and maintain<ul><li>Our Cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP) for our apps and IoT devices </li><li>Our API (Entreprise, Internal, Live Streaming)</li><li>Our Data Pipeline used to improve and validate our algorithms</li><li>Our CI pipeline (git) including automated algorithm and AI validation</li></ul></li><li>Make critical technical choices for platforms, languages, security, procedures and best practices</li><li>Stay on top of technical innovation to identify technologies we should integrate</li><li>Help grow the team</li><li>Contribute to building a tech culture focused on diversity and excellence</li></ul> <h2><u>What we are looking for:</u></h2> <ul><li>Knowledge of cloud infrastructure and VMs management (GCP and more importantly AWS)</li><li>Experience building and operating large scale, data driven backend is a must (eg. Kubernetes, Lambda Function, MongoDB, ElasticSearch)</li><li>Firsthand experience with cloud storage (eg. S3), job scheduling (eg. Airflow), message queues and streams (eg. Kafka, RabbitMQ), and distributed computation (Hadoop, Spark, etc) for Analytics and Machine Learning use cases.</li><li>Deep Understanding of Linux and Docker. Experience with Yocto would be a plus.</li><li>Experience with monitoring and incident management (eg.
