In this position...

The Microsoft Dynamics 365 Lead Technical Engineer must be comfortable facilitating/running customer facing workshops, have a good level of knowledge of all components of the Power Platform. They will stay up to date on the latest functionality offered by the platform and work with team members both in a project and practice context. The Microsoft Dynamics 365 Lead Technical Engineer will also be keen to improve upon their skills and dedicate themselves to a high level of understanding of new features released by Microsoft.

This is a hybrid work position, and we anticipate you to be onsite approximately two days/ week in our Dearborn, MI office.

What you'll do...

  • All aspects related to form customization: Adding Tabs, Sections, Subgrid, Web Resources, iFrame, Navigation Map Customization, Ribbons Customization and more.
  • Solutions and sitemap customizations.
  • JavaScript and XRM model for JS, including OData calls through JS.
  • Plug-in development.
  • CRM Portal Development and other custom portal development.
  • Integrating with Azure services through Power Automate, LogicApps, Azure Functions, WebAPIs.
  • Building Power Apps, Model Driven Apps and Canvas Apps.
  • Integration with Microsoft Co-pilot and Omni channel.
  • Unit testing, QAC, and technical documentation.

You'll have...

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related field or a combination of education and equivalent work experience 
  • 5+ years of experience with Dynamics 365 Customer Service (Power Platform / Dataverse) with responsibilities including SDK, Web API, Development of Plug-Ins, Custom Workflows, Power Automate, Custom Pages (React JS), Configuration Data Migration (Dataverse SDK), iPaaS / Azure Function Apps / Azure Service Bus and Integration Services, Customer Service Workspace 
  • 5 + years Hands-On Experience on .NET / C# / Visual Studio / ASP.NET MVC, Azure SQL Server / Data Export Service (or Azure Synapse) / SSIS (or Azure Data Factory)
  • 3+ years hands on experience with Azure Cloud
  • 3+ years of experience with GitHub or git-based source control 

 

Even better, you may have...

  • Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • Highly skilled in plug-in development, all aspects of Form customization like Tabs, Sections, Sub-grids, Navigation Map and Ribbons Customization.
  • Highly skilled in Power Platform code syntax and language requirements, PowerFX, API, rest service integrations, creation of custom connectors.
  • Develop Power Apps Portals, Canvas and Model Driven Apps, Power Automate, Power BI.
  • In-depth knowledge of integrating Power Platform with other systems.
  • Ability to understand AI technologies (preferably Co-pilot) and integration with Dynamics.
  • JavaScript & web development.
  • Ability to write maintainable & testable code.
  • Experience using Microsoft Azure, AWS, or other cloud computing platforms.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills. This includes the development and delivery of oral presentations and written reports targeted for the appropriate audience.
  • Proven experience in software development lead or architecture roles.
  • Ability and experience working in Agile project delivery. Ability to work with functional teams with both onshore and offshore resources. Expected to be flexible with time and capable of working in a process-oriented environment.
