Job Summary
We are seeking reliable person to lead our Weekday (homeschool) Physical Education program at the Beaverton Family YMCA. It is currently offered weekdays between 12 - 1 or  1 - 2pm, and will expand with interest and a great PE teacher. 

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in leading children through sports, physical activities, group games, and promoting health and fitness among these students.
Additional strengths or experience will enable applicants to work in other areas of our YMCA association. 

Responsibilities
- Implement and adjust physical education lesson plans that align with curriculum created.
- Instruct and lead students through skills, training, obstacle courses and interactive games, including a warm-up and cool-down.
- Educate students on the importance of maintaining an active and healthy lifestyle
- Engage with students during physical education classes to ensure safety and proper technique

Requirements

- Previous experience working with students and children with neurodivergence or special needs in a physical education setting is preferred 

- Experience coaching or participating in sports like basketball, soccer, volleyball etc is preferred
