Perform complex assessments, provide specialist advice/solution and training to internal/external clients, research or development work within agreed parameters including budget constraints and contractual requirements.

 

Produce the deliverable within the agreed parameters in an appropriate format and take responsibility to review and monitor other employees' work as requested. 

 

Pursue Continuing Professional Development and maintain a high degree of discipline knowledge and awareness. 

 

Assess/recommend the time/value of work to be undertaken for an external client within an agreed fee/cost structure within the commercial aspect of the contract, and issue quotations up to an agreed limit and Lloyds Register’s standard terms and conditions (e.g. commercial notice).

 

Discuss/present the deliverable with internal/external client at a senior level and be able to suggest alternative solutions where appropriate. 

 

Assist improvement in service delivery by making recommendations based on internal/external client feedback and to help building the business. 

 

Coach, mentor and develop technically other employees, as appropriate and share information to achieve effective knowledge transfer and application.

Conduct activities in line with internal procedures, accreditation schemes, legislation and industry standards.

 

Contribute to internal/external client management as appropriate by acting as point of contact to effectively manage client and LR relationships. 

 

Undertake project management where applicable including monitoring project performance against budget and contract requirements.

 

Make recommendations to improve service delivery effectiveness (based on client feedback) through changes to processes or work scope such that it leads to a reduction in appraisal effort (where applicable).

 

Maintain demonstrable technical competence by ensuring that competency codes remain valid by taking ownership of the activity monitoring and revalidation.
