About the role

The Position:

The Liquidity products Platform transformation role will be responsible for developing a business strategy and governance process for a globally consistent model for liquidity platforms to integrate with Citi’s core ledger systems, while providing corporate and Financial Institutional clients tools to manage payments flows efficiently. This will be achieved  through the design of a unified framework for orchestrating payments handling across multiple payment processors, supporting the migration of services for the liquidity business to the Citi’s new ledger system (PISMO), standardizing and migrating liquidity services from legacy DDA platforms to strategic rails, working in conjunction with other partners to deliver liquidity solutions that will facilitate payments and improve client experience in a consistent manner globally and enable better continuum across liquidity and payments.

The position will support global, regional and local product managers to execute key strategic solutions relating to Citi’s platform transformation ensuring design, development, and delivery of consistent solutions for payments and integration to PISMO globally. This is an exciting opportunity to lead a key component of the Services business and support the launch of new solutions, while harmonizing and standardizing existing features. The incumbent will drive the strategy, act as lead and single point of contact for liquidity management services group for engagement on core DDA transformation to end state, while ensuring that clients can continue to use intraday liquidity effectively, be the leader in deciding and executing priorities, and maintaining effective governance.

Responsibilities

  • The successful candidate will act as overall product manager for Global Liquidity and Cash Concentration business in the core DDA transformation proposition, ensuring that the business achieves seamless integration with PISMO as rollouts continue
  • Work with payments stakeholders to define and implement solutions that simplify payments processes, create single re-useable capabilities for the payments business, and reduce the cost to integrate multiple emergent payments processors
  • Be the single point of contact for harmonization of liquidity capabilities within core DDA and addressing those through a consistent global framework of capabilities
  • Align with stakeholders across payments, credit and liquidity to deliver payments decisioning on the back of client balance, available credit and structures
  • Creating a product vision aligned to business priorities and corresponding road-map to delivery objectives
  • Prioritizing and creating a product roadmap by liaising with various stakeholders – Regional and country product, Sales, Operations, Service and Implementations
  • Wearing a design thinking hat and creating features and functionalities aligned to different personas and stakeholders including Internal and External Clients
  • Coordination with technology partners on platform deployment, roll out of services to planned countries according to prioritization and roadmap
  • Partnering with Product Managers, Sales and Client facing groups to increase the adoption of the offerings via product training and marketing programs; manage the product rollout and act as the champion for product adoption through trainings, communications and client facing awareness programs
  • Securing all necessary program approvals from key stakeholders such as risk, legal, compliance and controls.  This will require close collaboration with partners such as operations and implementations in defining a global implementation and support model. 
  • The Product Developer will also support Cash Concentration initiatives, and lead cross sell initiatives while harnessing synergies across the product suite
